A SAFE WORKPLACE FOR EVERYONE
In 1862 John H Balsley patented the stepladder, although it is still a familiar sight, its working environment has been transformed completely. In this digital age which allows us a greater understanding of how and why things happen, we realise that low level falls are often caused by negligent use of ladders and mobile scaffolding. This is one reason for the introduction in 2005 of European “Working at Height Regulations,” and the development of a number of good alternatives.
This website is a platform for new developments in this field with the aim of making low level access safer, more ergonomic and more efficient.
